Mr. Ismail kindly explained every step of work to be done in advance and made sure that we understood and approved each one. When a layer of very old brick under the stoop was discovered and shown to be unsuitable for a modern cement covering, the workers quickly built a new layer that is much sturdier. The workers also replaced a crumbling stone border at the edge of our garden, sealed the stoop against moisture, painted the interior storerom room underneath the stoop, and removed dirt and debris. The building is a 648-unit apartment building on 5 floors over transfer slabs, with 11 buildings over 1 common shared parking garage and garage entrances on 2 street facades. They did everything from power washing, priming, painting the entire house, trim, doors, and gutters, and light carpentry work to replace damaged cedar and trim in just a few days! I have used Flying Colors in the past for roof cleaning and refurbishing and painting my cedar siding. They did an excellent job then so when damage was done to my roof due to a fallen tree I immediately thought of them. I called and within a day they had someone out covering the tree and hole in my roof with a tarp to prevent rain from doing further damage. Then I needed to do serious tree removal throughout the whole property including the roof, but as soon as that was done, I called Steve Totilo the owner and within 3 days he had a crew working on the repairs and reshingling which were done in short order.
