When painting it is important to use tape in several circumstances. The key to using tape is to remove it as soon as possible after painting.Green tape or blue works just fine for me when painting. For the average eight-hour work day, painter prices per day range from $200 to $800. This pricing option is best used for smaller paint jobs that only take one to two days to complete. A painter’s day rate varies depending on how far they have to travel to get to your home and your location. It’s important to note that most painters usually don’t like to charge by the day because there is room for error when estimating how long a project will take. For example, they may be done much quicker than anticipated, or the job may take far longer than anyone thought. Either way, you’re left overpaying for services, making the estimate less accurate.
Within two to four days after your call, we are able to have our estimators come to your home and provide an in-person estimate for the project. If you want to move forward, we can schedule the work for two weeks later. The painting process itself can vary depending on the number and size of the rooms, but we’re typically finished after a few days.
It is also important to know the season your newly-acquired home was painted since the weather condition when your house was painted can change how well the paint dried.
From there, you can calculate the cost of the paint job based on the per-gallon price of your paint brand of choice. If you need to buy equipment like ladders, paint guns, brushes, etc. remember to factor those prices into your calculation.
