I am unable to answer direct question. any painter that is reasonable(market rate) & has done work in your reference should be preferred. Asian Paints or any other company would try to set standards. However finally, end of the day it completely depends on man who is actually doing work at your place. At the same time avoid painters who quote very low price, because later they will increase the bill or compromise on result.
We’re currently flipping a house from the late 60s. We stripped popcorn ceilings ourselves in the entire house, re-textured every ceiling and wall, replaced all of the trim, and repainted every surface. We painted the ceilings with a roller extension- it was by far my least favorite part of renovations so far- so much easier if you do it before flooring is in though! I can’t wait to see more posts on the house! Such a neat project! Emily @ Life on Food February 25, 2015 .
All of the staff at Great Plains Painting, from the schedulers to the workers, were great. The job was completed faster than expected and we were definitely pleased with the final result. We would use Great Plains Painting again and would recommend to our neighbors.

I feel I should share my experience with so called student house painters. Being a painter for over 20 years I have learned a few things about most of the other painting companies. I have yet to meet any actual students working for so called student house painting companies. All these student painting companies I have come across are just another painting outfit with a different name for marketing. I am all in favor of hiring students but, I suggest home owners so some investigating on who exactly you are hiring in the future.Getting several quotes equals saving money when it comes to determining how much to paint a house will cost.
While selling a home, many assume that the best luxury items can reel in buyers. However, a home can’t really sell without realistic upgrades, like plumbing.
Part of the reason I was hired by the house flipper was that I had been a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, and had spent a few days painting with them. That’s one way to get experience (and help out a good cause), but you can also do what my new employer told me to do: learn online.
Most house paints today are latex based paints. There are not many oil based paints anymore for ecology friendly reasons. Latex paint is getting better and clean up is easy with water. When it comes to painting metal trim or fixtures oil based paints may be best, but oil based paint is getting harder to find. When unsure about the best paint to use I suggest contacting a professional paint store for the best answers.
Patching and replacing drywall can really add to the overall cost and slow your painting job down. Most interiors house painting jobs don’t require replacing drywall.
Increase your close rate, enhance your margins, improve your accuracy and submit more bids.
Next you have to coordinate access to certain areas including unlocking doors or entry access for a bit. Lastly, coordinating the work with your neighbors that share the stairwells and hallways of your building is always a great idea before the job begins.
Trimming bushes and brush is definitely an extra. I run into homes quite often where I have to cut back bushes in order to get to the siding of the home.
If you have a home with features like high walls with cathedral ceilings, open staircases, and two-story foyers, you should expect to pay more. These features all require scaffolding, which will add to the cost of the job.
